RETAILER – CONSULTANCY AND FEMALE BAME PIPELINING

Working with a national organisation to realign their hiring process, was our objectives. However, following an initial meeting, we were asked by their CEO and board to provide consultation, around their anti-racism strategy, linking this to a wider attraction, retention, and development piece.

It has been an interesting journey for our client, with honest and transparency at its core. We started by gathering data and then facilitated the dialogue, to enable our client to understand what it felt like to be a black team member. It is now time for us to educate, realign and standardise their hiring processes and build their attraction campaign. We have already made an impact and know that the journey is much brighter for our client.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE – CFO RETURNER

Dublin and London – February 2020

​Excited to be invited to the top table, to talk D&I strategy and the appointment of a female leader for our client. We set about measuring the effectiveness of their D&I strategy and soon realised that our client needed some guidance and support to help them foster their inclusive leadership culture. Many discussions followed, enabling them to have clear D&I objectives, along with a hiring panel that would not be bias! We provided them with market talent analysis, along with an exceptional candidate shortlist. We are soon about to be working on a new role, clearly demonstrating that hiring returners at C suite level, really is the only choice. 

START AND SCALE UP – TECH RETURNERS

February 2020 Dublin

Having realigned their working pattern, our client was now able to offer flexible working patterns and reached out to us. Using both our candidate returners database and our supportive hiring method, we were able to quickly provide them with 25 highly skilled returner candidates and was able to source Research Specialists, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Program Manager and a Senior BD Manager.

TECHNOLOGY – ANTI RACISM TRAINING – AWARENESS AND ACTION

June 2020

We initially ran a 2 hour “open dialogue” webinar, hearing from the senior leaders of this technology firm, about what being an anti racist company means to them. Some of the conversation was difficult for them, but the CEO was adamant that he wanted to understand his team’s views.  It was positive with action centred on doing and not saying.

Following the initial session, we have now been asked to run a series of workshops, all aimed at facilitating the dialogue to make change. We’ve provided the data and research and are now continuing those conversations, as we help them recognise and change those work experiences that create racial inequalities for teams. It’s a journey, but it’s impact is felt already.

Having successfully filled all of our client’s requirements in the Midlands, we were excited to be asked to support their hiring needs across their new London office.
